To the Trees

At first glance, the story of King’s Wood is one of ownership; the passing on of deeds from person to person, of names given and forgotten, of borders mapped out and dug into ditches. But all this time, with roots in the ground and leaves to the sun, the trees keep on their timeless cycle of growth and decay, providing food, shelter and a dreaming-place for the ordinary people who live in their shade. Join artist and actor, Jo Blake Cave, on this walk through the woods as she delves into the hidden stories, inviting outlaws, witches and kings alike to share in the shelter of its canopy. Folktale, myth and history interweave in this story-walk through King’s Wood. BOOK HERE
