Sing in the Woods

Join internationally acclaimed singer and writer Barb Jungr, Artistic Director of Deep Roots Tall Trees, in exploring the sounds of the forest. Barb’s recording and performance work, teaching and mentoring, has lead her through all kinds of vocal expression. On this workshop she will walk with you through the forest, listening and discussing the ways in which vocalisation might emerge from the experience of the woodland. Then, at Coronation Park Hall, she will lead a vocal improvisation based on the walk. Vocal expression frees the soul, animates the spirit and adds to a sense of wellbeing and life force. Just as a walk through the woods might! We will find the connections between the two.
