DRTT Dancetheatre will start again next Wednesday (13 Sept).
DRTT danccetheatre is a regular workshop series for people who enjoy moving and are interested in exploring and expressing themselves through dance. It is an open class and previous experience of dance related workshops is not necessary. Each session includes a guided warm up to prepare the body and mind followed by opportunities to move in response to music, images and ideas. The sessions are often playful with few if any taught sequences or routines.
The group is led by Neil Paris. His approach to his work has been developed over 20 years of work as a dance and theatre artist. It is person-centered and his guidance is light and responsive. In his workshops he aims to create a strong sense of community which enables individuals to feel confident in their own bodies and to enjoy expressing themselves through dance and movement.
The first session will not be at The Arc, so please contact our Creative Producer, Ros Stoddart (07717597063), to find out where to meet.
Thereafter, sessions will be based at The Arc at Rockingham Primary School in Corby from 7pm-9pm weekly on Wednesdays.
Cost is £5 per person per session.
New members are very welcome!
If you just want to come along to the first session and see what the group does... with no commitment... that is fine too – they are a very friendly group.
